Mission, Vision and Values

Mission

YukonGrow’s mission is to foster food security and minimize the environmental impact of human activity in Canada's North ‒beginning with the Yukon. This is articulated through supporting the local gardening, farming, houseplant enthusiasts, cannabis growers, landscaping, and soil engineering communities in optimizing their growing conditions. We specialize in providing high-quality products and services related to living soils, grow amendments and grow media such as biochar, compost, organic manures, and blends of living soil that are tailored to the local growing conditions and practices.

Vision

What we envision is communities of successful growers throughout Canada's North and beyond making best usage of local ingredients wherever possible and growing on regenerative principles to improve the quantity and quality of food in a sustainable way and to improve restoration of human-impacted landscapes such as mines.
