pH Adjusters

pH represents the level of acidity present in your soil, which has a major impact on your ability to successfully grow plants. The pH also impacts nutrient availability and microbial activity. Yukon soil can be slightly basic to slightly acidic depending by region. 

We offer several products you can use to adjust pH levels. Some plants enjoy a more acidic soil than others, such as peppers and radishes, rhododendrons and some hydrangeas. Aluminum sulphate decreases the pH and provides optimal conditions for acid-loving plants, while dolomitic lime adds calcium and magnesium to the soil while gently increasing the pH.
