Glacial Rock Dust
Derived from glacier mineral deposits, this product is an important source of magnesium, iron and manganese. It also has potassium, calcium and iron, as well as a broad spectrum of other elements. Glacial rock dust facilitates soil structure, water and nutrient retention and drainage as needed. This is a great amendment to add to your compost pile as a microbial enhancer, and can be used for a wide range of plants in your home garden, lawn and landscaping projects. Glacial Rock Dust will not burn your plants.
Rock and mineral deposits transported and ground by glaciers during the last ice age were deposited in moraines, where this dust can be collected from. It is screened to a fine particle size to maximize surface area and availability to plants and soil microbes.
